It's hard to believe
that "More than 3000 children are dying every week as a result of the decade
long embargo"
The embargo on Cuba is even longer and the cubans report, one of the lowest infant mortality rates, lower than the rates of most developed countries. The Sadam regime is now busy destroying missiles, very expensive missiles. Where did the money for these missiles come from? Perhaps, if they had taken care of the people from Iraq, using correctly the "oil for food" program and the "black" income from illegal sales of oil, the results would have been different! But it would be too much to ask from a dictator. Better blame the americans! Competing interests: None declared |
